As of October 19, 2010 the Priceville Volunteer Fire Department adopted a new set of operating guidelines to govern the operations of the department. Many of the new guidelines were written with the safety of our teammates in mind. The biggest change is we have now established a minimum requirements for a member to enter a structure fire. LT. Todd Mehl is the creator of the PVFD web site, the department Training Officer, a Board Member for the department, and a Post Committee Member for the Explorer Program. He has been voted Most Dedicated three years running by his firefighter peers. He is also a full time Dad and husband with a "day" job at Nucor Steel in Decatur. Todd is a veteran of the United States Navy.
